Lobster Fishing on Inis Oírr

As part of an environmental science project carried out under the Fionn Galway Primary School programme, children from Scoil Naisiunta Inis Oírr travelled on a small boat from the island into the Atlantic to fish for lobsters with some of the few fisherman still carrying on this very ancient tradition.

This short documentary contains some very interesting facts on this popular aquatic creature as well as providing some insights into island life.
