Part 2 of an interview by John Kelly with Bernie Higgins as he reminisces about his footballing career. In this episode, he talks of playing against Fohenagh for the prize of a pair of football boots. In spite of winning the match and scoring 17 points between himself and his striking partner, the boots never materialised! Bernie also names all the players, their position and their club that played with him in the Galway team against Sligo in the Connacht final of 1948. when he became the first man from his parish to win a provincial minor medal.
