Michael Geoghegan of Annaghdown GAA Club continues his chat with two players, who were part of the clubs’ 1982 breakthrough when the Senior Footballers won the first county title in 51 years, as they relate contrasting life experiences thereafter. Partly because of an injury but mainly due to a shortage of work, Kevin Scully tells of how he joined generations of Irish immigrants in the United States in the early 1980’s while Gerry Forde recalls how the club went on to win two further county titles.
